Our Story

From a Dream to a Destination

Chariton “Harry” Hadjicharalambous arrived from Cyprus in 1980 with determination, a strong work ethic, and a love for food. After years of learning the deli craft throughout Queens and Manhattan, his journey led him to Long Island, where Harry’s Hilltop would become a household name.

Honoring the Past, Serving the Present

Before becoming Harry’s Hilltop, this location was known as Rudy’s Deli, beloved for its iconic potato, macaroni, and coleslaw salads. When Harry took over, he preserved those original recipes, keeping a piece of local history alive while building something new around them.

A Family Business at Heart

For more than 25 years, Harry’s Hilltop has been more than a deli — it’s been part of everyday life in Williston Park. Rooted in family values, consistency, and pride, the restaurant reflects Harry’s heritage and passion. That same dedication continues today, shaping every plate, every interaction, and every guest experience.
